Each narrated tour lasts 1-1/2 hours and cruises either through the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal or to Sherwood Point Lighthouse (weather permitting). Snacks and refreshments, including full bar, are available on board for sale during the cruise. No carry-ons, please. There is also an onboard memorabilia and gift salon. The boat is equipped with restrooms. Pets are welcome.
Boat tours leave the city dock adjacent to the Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay every day throughout the season.
We are starting this season's cruises on Memorial Day weekend: Friday, May 28, 2010
Morning cruise time: 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Afternoon cruise time: 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
September and through approx. October 7 cruise times
One trip only: 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. goes through the Sturgeon Bay ship canal to the Coast Guard station.
DOOR COUNTY FIREBOAT CRUISES is a seasonal attraction. All cruises are subject to weather conditions and minimum passenger count.
Peak season (July/August) cruises go daily with rare exceptions normally due to inclement weather. Holiday cruises often fill early.
Off-peak season (May/June & September/October), it is especially advisable to plan ahead. Contact us to confirm schedule.
Please arrive 15 minutes before departure time for boarding.
Tickets
Tickets for both cruises may be purchased at the boat or at the Maritime Museum with cash or credit card. Please arrive to board 15 minutes before departure time.
Private parties are available for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, reunions, etc.
